The ANEL plastic medium super is standard Langstroth 10-frame. It is interchangeable with 10-frame wooden hive components. The ANEL medium super consists of a hard-shell outer plastic body made from high-quality food-grade polypropylene (PP) and an inner thick layer of polyurethane (PU) foam insulation.

In order to have the same level of insulation with wood you need 7cm thickness.
