Small Hive Beetles are attracted to the beetle blaster by its dark top and small holes. The bees chase them, they run in the small holes to escape the honey bee and drown in the oil.

Oil has been designed with a shb attractant in it. Once poured in the trap, beetles are attracted to the traps by the smell, jump in the dark space and drown.

Place 1-4 traps per hive depending on the infestation.
